I was lucky enough to see Clapton and Winwood during this tour, and the "Live From Madison Square Garden" DVD reminds me why I loved the show so much. The concert is close to two and a half hours long, but there are some extras worth the second leading DVD presentation total of three hours. br / br / Musically both results were wonderful. When I went to the show, I went more for Clapton, but was swept away by the material to the point that I consider a Winwoodtossup which I prefer. (This is a great enigma to have!) In short, I loved the concert and I love this DVD. There are too numerous to discuss each one, but they are all great. Personally I think it is the veterans who have aged well, and I am very pleased that Winwood's voice still allowed him to hit the high notes in "Can not Find My Way Home" and master the bluesy growl necessary to "Voodoo Chile" , my two favorites from the show. Both are in great shape musically, the work of Clapton's guitar is up therewith the best of his Cream days, while Winwood takes more than just guitar and Hammond organ makes its come to life like few others can dream of.br / br / The set contains the DVD concert on disc one, slightly edited and interspersed with some clip interview of Clapton and Winwood, disc two is a huge bonus DVD with a documentary entitled "The Road to Madison Square Garden," which is very well done (and from which the fragments of interview on a disc have been taken), as well as performanceof "Rambling on My Mind", from soundcheck (Clapton is magnificent in his sound here), "Low Down", "Kind Hearted Woman", and a slow version of "Crossroads." br / br / I highly recommend this DVD set for Clapton and Winwood fans, fans of amazing musicianship, and fans of live music.

Not Clapton’s best work – Ole Kristensen – Calumet, MI
This collaboration of the past should be left in the past. This music is not what one is accustomed to from Clapton. Both are talented musicians themselves, but in my opinion Winwood influence on this record has been too pervasive. Maybe I do not care too much for the music of Steve Winwood. In any case, if I had known that I was in for the sound mark Clapton, I would not have bought this disc.
DTS, but only 3 channel – K. Hallman – NC
The concert itself is amazing, but when you put the title of DTS on a Blu-Ray people expect at least 5.1 DTS, but this film only uses 3 channels (stereo and subwoofer) br / br / This is the 'only reason I gave 3 stars, if it was true DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1/7.1 then it would get 5 stars. The case has never said how many channels and said only "DTS" and tried 3 different configurations concert on Blu-Ray and got the same result.
Highly compressed audio on default stereo track – Peter J. White – Hillsborough, NH
Winwood is one of my favorite musicians. The treasures of all the ancient music of the traffic. And I always liked Clapton. I thought the performances on BluRay were very good. But the audio was unforgivably bad on the track by default. And there is no indication that there is no record several tracks stereo. It turns out that there is a DTS track, which is much better, although not great. Compression is useful for radio broadcast these days, since so many people listen to music while driving, is theOnly then will the quiet passages in music can be heard while driving a car. But to compress the audio track of a Blu-Ray is ridiculous. My forty years old vinyl records have a more dynamic range than this has on the BluRay disc stereo track. It 'really pathetic. The disc should default to the track BluRay DTS. Shame on the producers to make such a basic error.
Mediocre blu-ray sound poorly shot – DECKARD – USA
I saw this in a friend's house, ready to order after we have heard, but I was disappointed. Performance exciting phase horribly lit and badly shot. Outstretched hand cameramen must come from a home for cameramen with Lou Gehrig's disease. They struggled to keep the camera relatively stable (and not give me that "it is shaky cam" BS). They also have trouble maintaining the focus (and not give me that "artistic" BS). But the person who should be held responsible for this is the director,as is her call for the lighting and directs the cameramen. It 'all a embarassment.br / Do you really want to hear and see these guys perform well, buy the 2007 Eric Clapton Guitar Festival and ignore the Amazon reviewers comments.
